View Full Version : Bronze age classics
I'll admit my bronze age comics selection is a little weak. I have mainly Hulk, Fantastic Four, What If and a few Captain America issues. What are some other good Bronze age comics that one should consider? Are there lots of underrated titles that would be good reading available for cheap?

I was always a HUGE fan of the first 40 or so MICRONAUTS comics.
If you can get your hands on them, I suggest you read them.
In fact, I may pull mine out (comics, that is) and read them again.

The Bronze age horror titles are really good and you can get reader copies at a decent price. Some say the cover art is the only reason to buy these, but I liked a lot of the stories, especially in House of Mystery and House of Secrets. DC reprinted the House of Mystery in their black and white Showcase line. You can pick it up for about $15 or less and it has 500 pages of horror stories! Can't get much cheaper than that. Which reminds me, I'll have to start a Bronze age cover thread! Been meaning to get to that...

You can't go wrong with the titles Conan, X-Men and Dracula and I liked the Wonder Woman stories from that time period too.
