As some of you know, I personally consider pressing to be restoration. But that's comes second to the issue of disclosing pressing.

One guy who is trying his hardest to do it right, in todays environment, is Brent Moeshlin who runs www.qualitycomix.com. He actually has the audacity to disclose which books have been pressed that he has for sale.

You don't have to play the game of "I'll tell you if you ask me" with Brent. Purely from the standpoint of principle, I would check out his new listings on ebay... you can find them at ....

Brent is one of the good guys in the hobby. No games with him.

That's nice! How do you spot pressing on books other than if you had done it yourself?

That freshly pancaked look along the spine is a good place to start. Bad pressing jobs are pretty easy to spot.

As you move up the manipulation food chain it gets harder for the average collector to spot.

That's why relying on the honesty of the seller is essential, and the few that disclose books they press should be supported.
