Anyone use Facebook, Myspace or a blog...

...to promote your sales? Does it work. Been thinking about doing such and was wondering if anyone has had success with it.

I've never used FACEBOOK for anything, as I am too old to be "hip and with it", these kids today, what with their iPhones, Facebooks and my spaceses...., I declare. However, I don't see how it could hurt sales, all things considered. Anything that puts your sales out there for people to see, can only help, right?

I have a couple blogs, but don't really sell much of anything anymore. I used to though (on ebay), and honestly, I don't think the blogs ever did much to help it.

I've hooked up with more than a few *regular buyers* through MySpace.
It has worked wonderfully for me and brought in sales I would not have had otherwise.

I go all over the place looking for anywhere to advertize, like Jay says, it wouldn't hurt. Look for places (you're allowed to advertize) that have many members like Facebook, myspace and popular forums. There's tons of places to do this if you look for them.
