AMOK the lifestyle of the early 21st century!

The Charlton Guy
05-19-2006, 02:36 AM
That lifestyle might have won you this game...

The only options I see (Amos, Amor, Amoy) are all proper nouns.

I think congratulations might be in order!

(Wait for Jaeldubyoo and the Doc to make the scene though,
who knows what loony currency or furren word they'll come up
with... Co. Twitchylips Productions, 2006)

rowand
05-19-2006, 05:58 AM
Oh crud, I guess IMOK isn't any good since its an acronym for "I'm OK" and I could post UROK and see if it flies SIGH

I thought it was AMOK the state of being OK

Oh by the way boys, I don't think the words ONES or ORES can be used!!

No where does it show ones in the meanings!

Nice try Linda, but both are common plural usages.

I think rowand has scored his first win.

I wasn't trying to do anything other than to question some words that have been used, which is what are do ain't it? That wasn't nice!!

Congrats, rowan!!

BTW CG,

I wasn't trying to do anything other than to question some words that have been used, which is what are do ain't it? That wasn't nice!!

When I said "nice try" I meant just that.

I often try and derail the winning word too (as you may have noticed).

I meant no offense.

Congratulations again Rowand!

marvelguy

Congrats Rowan for the win. Who would have thought a person who would win this game just suddenly come out of nowhere and snatch it from the jaws of victory? Just like Jael, you're a champ!

Thanks to ALL for their congradulations on my possible win. Who knew making a Star Trek reference could have garnered a victory but we are waiting with partly baited breath.

Cheese-flavored toothpaste was on extreme sale.

Fulltimer: way to go - keep us honest and on our collective toes. I think dictionaries leave out the trivials to save on printing costs. No idea why online dictonaries would.

Fish is the plural of Fish unless you mean more than one species: all the fishes in the sea! All the ones and zeroes in a computer's memory. All the ores mined in England didn't produce enough Zinc for early Bronzemaking!

It appears that Hoss has been detained, or outright kidnapped, on his latest sojourn to Ashtabula.

I have been suspecting CIA surveilance of thee New Corral, and I'm afraid that my deepest fears may have been realized.

Let's hope he doesn't spill the beans in respect to the actual International significance of the Change One Letter Game, the truth about Evil Parsnips, or Sillyship's real college major.

We can only hope for the best and keep the rest hush hush.

For now, I will be happy to award Rowand his first Corral Cash Award for the first Change One Letter Game at the New Corral.

I think that $1.00 per page is appropriate here (up to the winning post), so you have $20.00 in Corral Cash coming your way!

Congratulations again!

I'll be starting up a new Game soon. And yes, I'll be sitting this one out. ALL Members are encouraged to participate in this Game, which aside from incuding a Corral Cash Award, will also include a Mystery Comic Award (to be revealed as the Game progresses).

Good luck!
