It's not only Member of the Month time, but it just happens to be Member of the YEAR time!
That's right folks, it's been one solid year of jabbering about everything under the sun. Oh yeah, comics too.
I can't really sum up all I want to say about the last year here with you guys.
I really feel like we have become family. An admittedly semi-to-totally-dis-functional family (and what family isn't?), but family none the less. I have made some really great friends here, had an absolute riot, and look forward to the growth of the Corral that is planned for the next year.
Needless to say, none of this would have been, or is possible without the efforts of the one who got the whole mess started, the one who dropped a "What-If?" suggestion on the ebay boards one day last September and I'll be danged, we took him up on it and I'll be even more danged, he delivered. And more.
The first Corral was the craziest impulse discussion board I have ever experienced and one hell of a ride. This second incarnation is really beginning to feel like home, and you are not going to believe the changes and improvments that Hoss has planned for the coming months.
It is really looking like this crazy joint is going to become a comic book forum for the ages.
And I figure you know where this is going by now.
Without Hoss, this place wouldn't exist. And I (we) wouldn't have had the pleasure of making each others aquaintance and becoming the family of which I speak.
I won't go too much further overboard (I'll let y'all take the ball and run with it), except to say that it is with great pleasure that I usurp authority (for a change... :lol: ) and hereby and forthwith declare and decree:
HOSS as the first Comics Corral Member of the YEAR!!!
Congratulations Boss Hoss, this has been a long time in my wishes.
Thanks for a really great forum and for helping us all make some really great friends.
