I think it must be glued on!

GGA stands for Good Girl Art.......many of the comics from the 40's & 50's (before SOTI & the CCA) had lots of great "Headlight" covers & such.....which is considered Good Girl Art.

Here is one of the most famous of all GGA covers (wish I had a copy!)

Hey Dave!

The Shan-Lon variants are just a tad bit smaller than regular comics and they were originally released with an audio cassette.

From what I gather they are pretty tough to come by and darn near impossible still sealed with the cassettes. (I don't have the cassettes)

That is about all I know about 'em......a cool oddity!

Yeah, I left the number from the previous auction I was doing in the title which also puts it in the heading of the auction.

I did have it correct in the smaller description but of course with eBay's rules once there is a bid you can't change any part of your description so I had to leave the mistake!

I did add on to the description about how the auction is for #100 and not for #29. Hopefully, it will be read!

I had my eye on that House of Mystery #3, but then it went to about $18, at top end of what I was willing to pay. I figured last-minute snips would kick the price well out of my range.

Imagine my surprise when I saw the $18 bid remained the high bid, and was the winner.

Many Sniping services are way cheap. Gixen is free, but I don't know as I'd trust them with my eBay creds. SnipeSwipe is quite affordable.

Habib, I would never use such a service because I don't feel like it is honest and I have to give up my password. I have already had someone try and break into my ebay account once this year. It created a big mess for me and I accidently locked myself out of my own permanent email account causing me to loss all my friends email address, my purchasing and ebay history for many years among other precious things that are lost to me.

Anyway, I would bid but cannot pay until I return which is the 26th. If that is ok with you then I will place a bid or two. I doubt I will win as I am broke but you never know.

Sales were decent...no complaints.

I have actually sold that Alf #48 (screwing the seal cover) for $10 before so it didn't quite meet my expections...lol!

The Rifleman #10 Chuck Conners "woody" cover went for probably guide and a half at $46.....not bad!

and Wolverine: Origins #10 Third Claw variant going for $90 was outstanding!! (had $1 into it from Heroes Con!!)

Overall....lost money on a few and made a little bit on the rest.

Most would have probably done better in my half off boxes at a convention with just a few exceptions like the examples above.

Decent sales last week w/the Pep Comics, Aquaman #1 and Hot Stuff #1, & #2 very nice in the sales dept!

The 2 Hot Stuff comics paid for the whole lot of 140-150 comics I pick up at the auction I went to a few weeks ago!
