Damn! That's a shock!! I've never thought that a stingray would be the demise of him despise all the dangers he faced with crocs, snakes, etc...
R.I.P. -Steve Irwin-
What a shame to go at such a young age. He was a great guy who brought a lot of interest into wildlife and conservation. He'll be sorely missed.

I always figured when that headline came up, the background photo would be a very fat croc or snake.
Such a shame, wasn't even grabbing it, like usual. Just passing by.

We heard about it yesterday. At least he went doing what he loved doing!
If it had hit him in any other spot it would had at most made he a bit sick and it would had been painful. But in the heart there wasn't a thing anyone could had done for him.
He will be missed! RIP, Steve!

Steve has been the best and biggest ambassador for Australia that we have ever known.
He was a very down to earth person according all reports and most of what he made went back in Australia Zoo and many many other organizations that supported wildlife.
He had even bought 24000 heactures of natural bush here in AUS to be preserved snd never be used for develpment
Many Aussies were alittle bit emabrrased by his speech - to oker supposedly.
But he had millions of fans worldwide and here.and he was the most passionate person I have ever heard about wildlife
RIP Steve
Dave
