Glad you asked!
It was a great show! Lots of dealers and lots of bargains! Here's a sampling of things I got:
Herb Trimpe signed my Hulk #178
Bernie Wrightson signed my Dead She Said #1
Here's some group shots of things I picked up from a Bronze-Age dealers clearing out stuff at 7 for $10!!! YOW!!!!

Probably my best purchase of the day. Gave the dealer $15 for this little beauty.
My son came with me on the 2nd day of the show and he's a big Hulk fan, so I took him to Herb Trimpe's table to look at all the cool Hulk covers. Herb was charging for his sketches so I didn't figure to get one for the boy, but evidently Herb took a liking to little Ben, and this was the result.....FOR FREE!!!! I'm SOOOOOOOO Jealous!!
Here's a pic of Herb drawing the sketch for Ben:
If you see the sign in front of Ben that says "Herb Trimpe" and look at the 3rd item to the right of that sign, you will see the original cover to Hulk 181, the 1st app of Wolverine.
Herb and the rest of the guests were awesome and really took time with each person that came up to talk to them. Just a great, great time!!

Thanks raz!
Yep, that's Ben standing in front of Herb and his lovely wife. He just turned 7.
And I was told the Hulk 181 cover was "not for sale."

You'd be shock how many artist & writers take a shinning to the little guys at shows.
WHY ??
Because they know they're the future in comics and will keep them in business. I have a photo of my little guy with Brian Bendis who wouldn't let ANYONE around the table at Wizard Chicago, but my son who was just standing there looking at his books asked for a picture and my avatar is the result of this great moment.

My son was 5 when I took him to his first comic show and now he goes everytime large or small, doesn't matter he goes with and some of the dealers at the local shows start remembering who he is because he has learned to wheel & deal with them...lol
They love it and haggle him when throwing out a price for what they have, the new dealers to the shows who don't know him give some additude but the old timers watch and laugh then give in and he gets what he's asking for.. lol ... it's funny to watch but even the small time dealers know that the young people are there future.

I just assumed razor was Brian Bendis.
It's always great to hear about artists doing nice stuff for kids. A couple years ago, I watched Neal Adams do a Batman sketch for a young kid in a wheelchair; muscular dystrophy, I think. (The son of one of my father's friends has MD, and this guy reminded me of him.)
Adams wasn't doing sketches then, not even for money, but he took time to do one for this kid. Very classy.

That is gorgeous! Was it a commission or a piece of original art for sale by a vendor?

It was a Mark Brooks commission. This is Mark's idea of a "con sketch"
Although a great guy, he only usually turns out about 2 or 3 pieces in a weekend.
