I never got around to making a NYCC con report and finally made the time to snap pics of some of my pickups. My most favoritest is this Ron Wilson pinup of The Thing. I'm sure everyone will recognize the homage to Hulk Annual #1. Ron Wilson was a very down to earth guy, seemed surprised that folks remembered all those great 1970s covers he did

Incredible piece! Being a bronze age Marvel zombie, I have great memories of the work Ron Wilson did back in the day. I met him at the Mid-Ohio-Con in 2007. As you said, he is very friendly and down-to-earth.
