Hi, I'll be setup both days of the Boston Comic con, April 4th & 5th. The guest list is impressive with Dick Ayers, Mike Allred, Whilce Portacio, Jim Cheung, and Paul Gulacy appearing. I'm looking forward to a Gulacy sketch of Catwoman or maybe Shang-Chi but probably Catwoman :)
I'm dragging my son along to man the booth so I should have some time to float around. Any want lists or book signing requests are welcome, only caveat is that I don't like standing in long lines
If any Corral members are going please stop by the East Bay Comics booth and say Hi. They have me listed as Dave Hennen Comics on the vendor list.

Good Luck with that Gulacy sketch Dave.......last year he was supposed to be at a convention we were at but cancelled out the day of the show with no prior warning. :x
Hopefully, that is not a trend for him and was just an isolated event.......

I think it was just an isolated incident. I met Paul at Comic-Con last year and he was really cool. I went up to him after his panel and asked him to sign a couple books. He had to get to a booth so he asked me to walk with him down to the main floor where he signed my copies of Nexus 1 and 2. He seemed perfectly comfortable with the fanboy carrying the funnybooks, and we had a nice if brief conversation. He was a class act in San Diego.

That is nice to hear Pas. Sounds like you had a great meeting with him!
Hopefully, he will show up so Dave can get a great Catwoman sketch and show it off to us here at the Corral!!

Tell him pasnat says hi. And don't be surprised if he replies "Huh? Who?" That's just his way of making sure people don't ask him for naked Nexus/Sundra sketches. He only does those for special fans.

No, I took the picture. Paul is on the right wearing the grey jacket, black shirt and bright yellow convention guest tag. The guy in the burnt orange shirt is another fan as far as I know, though he could be some incredibly famous creator I didn't recognize.
Razor? Not sure what you're referring to.
Notice in the background at the left edge, there's a guy carrying a Battlestar Galactica bag. It's huge and bright purple and says "Big Frackin' Bag." I wanted one, but I was never at the booth when they were giving them out. There was no schedule; they passed them out when they'd had enough fun watching the fans writhe in anguish while waiting.
However I did get a huge 3' x 4' WB bag. It had Buffy the Vampire Slayer on it, which I thought was really cool. Then back at the motel, Secrets says, "I knew you'd get one of those bags." "You knew? Why?" "Don't you know who's on it?"
I didn't apparently. But when I looked below Buffy, there was Lauren Graham, my future wife.
I've since made the bag into a pillow.

I don't think I'll be able to make this show. The artist line-up is (for me, personally) weak. The only one I'd want to meet is Paul Gulacy, and I met him when I lived in Seattle (he was there with Doug Moench - very cool!). And he was very cool, I agree with the rest!
