I picked these two items up at a small show in Salem Virginia. You never know what you might find. Both are prints by two different artist. These are in mint condition. The glare is only from the plastic they're in and poor camera work:p
Hope you enjoy.

First up is from an Artist name Marc Wolfe (check out his other artwork at www.marcwolfeart.com (http://www.marcwolfeart.com))
Crow is one probably my favorite character.

Batgirl is one of my favorite female characters.
This one was done by Mark Sparacio signed 101/250. I don't know if he has a web site or not.

Don't give up on the small shows, you never know what you might find. In the past few years I've been leaning on picking up only art work instead of comics. Do you blame me? :D

Nice pick-up, SC! Both are good artists in their own right. Marc has done some Sketch covers for fans that has been CGC'ed and Mark has done some work for Marvel. The Batgirl is a keeper.

The small shows has some good stuff, plenty of time to look and not a lot of crowds to wade thru.

Thanks for the comments.

Charlotte Convention "Heroes aren't hard to Find" is a great convention to go to for art work. The downer is that you usually have to wait in line for a while before meeting/greeting and getting something for the artist. If however its that one artist you want to meet its worth the time. The small shows don't have the glamor and like Marvel Guy said, the crowds aren't usually that large. Its easier to get through. The small shows usually suprise me because there maybe that one dealer that has everything you're looking for.

anyone here in the Chicago area going to attend the Windy City comicon? I am looking forward to this show.. it is only a one day event but ,as stated before, you never know what you will find, and there are alot of great local artists and writers here in Chicago. This will be my first time at this show since I am new to the area but I am looking forward to it!

I've heard that Chicago always have great shows. I've never gotten up there to check them out. Please share the experience and let everyone know how it turned out.

Meanwhile, we're having one here in Rockford (about an hour from O'Hare) next Saturday, May 30. I just may buy myself a birthday present.

I'll be hitting the Windy City Comicon. I've usually go to Wizard World, but will miss that this year. So I'm looking forward to Windy City and a more comic oriented show.
