OK, I have added all the magazine supplies, comic dividers, and a few other items today.

I'll try and add the extenders and comic houses later today. After seeing the cool cabinets that Linda posted in the general thread no one will want the comic houses! Of course, the Comic Houses will run about 1200 less!

***************

OFF EBAY SHENANIGANS:

I have a few cases of Mylites 1 mil on the way that I'm going to add to the old storefront soon. Does anyone want a pre-ebay deal?

I'll send you 1000 Mylites 1 mil in any of the three sizes for only $130 SHIPPED! That's 13 bucks per 100...It's hard to find em that cheap ANYWHERE! I definitely won't be able to sell em this cheap on feeBay!

Current Comics (7 x 10 1/2) 1990's
Standard (7 1/4 x 10 1/2) 1970's - 1990's
Silver/Gold (7 3/4 x 10 1/2) - 1950's - 1970's

I've got boards that fit these bags in my store as well, they aren't Fullbacks or Halfbacks, but they are very high quality!

Sens me a PM if you are interested...

I'll have some 2 and 4 mil mylars in a few weeks. I'll send samples out to all of you who have been waiting for them when they come in (you too camper  ). If anyone wants a sample 1 mil Standard, I can send one today. PM please!

I'll see you soon with the next update!

Hey Corralians!

I added 2 mil modern comic mylars in 500 count and 50 count. Obviously, the 500 count is the best deal...

I'll add the 4 mil modern and both sizes and quantities of the silver and golden age tomorrow.

I'm still begging my supplier for a picture of the comic houses! I'll post one up when i get it!

Have a great night!

Yay! The comic houses are now in stock at my store!

Check these bad boys out!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/linkasaur/AAA%20Auction%20Images/SHORT-HOUSE.jpg

Don't break your back shifting around your comic boxes anymore! These are just what you have been waiting for! :-D

If you already have purchased short boxes from me all you will need is the houses! The boxes are also available in my store if you want to start with new boxes as well!

I'm also starting to list comics. I'm working my way backwards from Z so you should start seeing lots of goodies appearing every few days. I charge only $3.50 shipping for unlimited comics so stock up! I ship my comics in nifty boxes so they don't arrive at your house all crushed up and stuff...

Take care!

I just got a sample in from BCW. They are very nice Comic Houses. They aren't as long as the Comic Drawers, but since I use the short boxes anyway, it doesn't matter. These things are very sturdy and easy to assemble. I'm probably going to switch to these things.

Man, I wish I would afford those Comic Houses right now. They look great and it'd be a whole lot better than the longboxes-on-sturdy-shelves setup I've got right now..

I hear ya!
I've had to convert a bedroom into a comic room to store long boxes.
here's a few pics for you.
Is this similar to what you did?

A few questions about the thick Polypro bags:

1. Are they decent quality (as in won't split at the seems and free of manufacturer defects)?

2. How badly would current books be swimming in the Silver ages size and do early SA/Atom age DC's (late 40's - '56)?

3. What would shipping on 1000 counts of SA bags and boards to Canada be (postal code R1N 2B1)?

Hey oxbladder,

1) The BCW bags are very high quality. In all the time I've been carrying those there has been only one problem. The bags had roller marks on them. I stand behind these bags 100%...you will be satisfied or I'll eat the bags. Well, no, I won't eat them, but I'll give your money back/replace them!

2) The thick silver age bags are 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 and the modern bags are 7 x 10 1/2. I don't own any comics from 40s-to 50's so I don't have any idea what size those are. If needed the golden age bags are 8 x 10 1/2.

3) Let me check with my supplier. I'll get back to you on this one.

Holy cow, that's a lot of comics!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've done too, only I use those metal shelves from The Container Store that are easy to assemble and disassemble (when I move, for instance).

But, yeah, it stinks having to pull a longbox out just to get to one comic in the back..

I'm moving all of my comics from long boxes into short boxes and have ordered some of the Comic box houses to see how they are going to work for me. This old girl ain't as young as she use to be and the long boxes are just to must for me to lift anymore when they are full, that is! Which they are. The only long boxes I have that ain't full are the ones I'm working on moving.

He's right on, my local LCS carries them. I really like them because the quality on the bags and boards are far superior than other brands. I always buy Silver bags and boards for 60's and up.

Thanks for the info MG. I like the bags that my LCS provides with my books though he is often at the mercy of his supplier and the quality can vary. The reason why I am looking for a large lot isn't to replace my LCS' bags but I eventually need to bag and board a huge number of books that I never bagged and replace some bags here and there. My LCS once quoted me $160 CDN for 1000 bags and boards but if I can get them cheaper all the better since I likely will need to get more than 1000 in the end ..... not to mention I have probably $250 worth of books still to grab from my LCS so I don't think he would be too pleased me piling up more books just to get some bags and boards.

It would be cool if I could get 1000 of each for 60 bucks less which is entirely possible with the prices in the Corral store.

Not much added to the store this week. I did add the Long Comic Boxes back into inventory.

I also reduced the comic houses from $35 to $29. Some of the other supply guys are selling these for $5.00 each! With my prices you're paying less than $3.00 each when you buy 10! These are things are great!

I'll get around to posting a few comic auctions soon, but for the most part my eBay store is only going to carry the comic supplies. it just costs too much to list those .99 cent comics!

I have a few thousand back issues to get rid of though, so I'll probably post a list up here as well. These will be 50 cent/ $1.00 bin type items. I may even be able to scrounge up a few more horror books for SP!

Keep me in mind for all of your comic supply needs.

Hey, Hoss, any idea why I can't get the images in those Comic House listings to show up in Firefox? They show up in IE just fine. Weird!

I'm nudging my significant other to order me some for X-mas...

I'm not sure why those aren't showing up. Do you have any trouble seeing any other photobucket images?

Well, not that I'm aware of. I know that most of the time I can't see kochcom's images either (although I don't know where they're hosted).

Ah, well, it's probably just eBay not playing well with Firefox..

You know only Comics Corral Store comic supplies can keep your comics minty fresh, sillyship!

I'd rather buy comics too, though! I just hate sitting around and putting boards in the bags!
