I would need some advice on how to get some traffic to my store. It seems that a lot of webcrawlers come but not a lot of potential clients.
Since this is only a part time thing, I don't have a lot of money to invest.
Thanks,

Promotion is definitely the toughest part of running an online shop (especially without eBay's built-in traffic).
A few ideas:
• Trade links with other websites.
• Trade flyers with another related mail-order company (meaning you include each other's flyers with orders).
• Include your URL in every outgoing e-mail and in your signature on every message board.
• Send flyers out with orders (especially if you sell to customers elsewhere such as eBay).
• Some people say Google's ad program works for them but I've never tried it.
• Make sure you've submitted to all the major search engines.
It seems like search engine optimization can be a full-time job in itself but there's a ton of reading online about it.
