That's right folks, it the Grand Tradition of the Ol' Corral,
I'm a day late and a dollar short in getting
October's Corral Member of the Month up and running.

Who'da thunk it?

Well, this one has been a long time in coming,
is way too late, and is guaranteed to drive this Member away
for at least six months, but some things have to be done.

That's right, it the Corral Member that CGC fans love to hate,
the Veteran of The Possum Wars,
the Inveterate Anti-Speculative Comic Reading Maniac,
the one, the only:

Congratulations Stu! You have been responsible for some of the best posts on our boards,
certainly the most subtle and erudite.

I mean really, you have to overcome your inate shyness and learn how to express yourself!

And we can always be assured that the feeling is mutual,
and that deep inside,
you have a soft spot in your heart for us as well:

So keep up the good work in your Never-Ending Crusade to bring the CGC Madness to light,
keep on finding those Good- Key Issues for peanuts on ebay,
stick around for some surprises coming up here in the next couple of weeks,
and here's a little bonus in Corral Cash for all of your efforts here...
(particularly for your you-know-what-I'm-talking-about-generosity-that-I'm-not-supposed-to-talk-about).

Thanks for taking on the CGC mythos with both guns blazing, and thanks for being a part of the Ol' Corral (and the new).

Best regards,

CG

Congratulations Stu!

Thanks for being a part of the Corral from it's early days. We have had some intersting times here and it would never have been the same without you!

Enjoy your time as the member of the month!

Wow, I am a dumb ass. I haven't been posting much, (my poor "Guess the Cover" games  ) and I only just found this now. CG sent me a Corral Cash donation like a week ago, but it didn't say anything about this. So I wrote him back saying I'm not sure why he did that and that I don't really deserve it, LOL. I thought only productive members got this distinction, but I guess you've made an exception. I've been trying to avoid the CGC stuff over here, but if you want me to relapse, you have to read this thread.

Steve Borock just rewrote the rules of Restoration today!

"Disassembly and reassembly of a comic book, in and of itself, is not considered to be restoration. "

Okay, sorry about that  Thanks again, I really didn't expect to be the M.O.M. You guys are friggin' crazy #creep#

(PS - particularly for your you-know-what-I'm-talking-about-generosity-that-I'm-not-supposed-to-talk-about - I wish I knew what you were talking about, LOL! All I've done is donate a few comics)
