Simple rules, cool prize.

I have intentionally divested my entire collection of CGC books.

Except for one.

This contest is intended to divest myself of this last remaining reminder
of the transitory and insidious nature of purchasing CGC books
for purely sceculative reasons. Like that one Stu? SP?

So here's the deal...the book is all yours.

For a price...

The price being the four to six weeks it may take to win this current round of the

THREE-LETTER CHANGE ONE LETTER GAME!

You know the rules by now (and the fire from the ice), so let's play!

Oh...wait a minute...there will also be a "20 Questions" component to this Game:

Whoever guesses all four of the following first: Title, Issue Number, CGC Label color and CGC Grade first, will win an additional $200 in Corral Cash.

Those who guess each of these four designations first (individually), will get $50 in Corral Cash for each correct designation
(Title, Issue Number, CGC Label Color and CGC Grade).

You may only make one guess per post.

But! You may guess all four designations at one time (in order to win the $200 Grand Prize),
but you may want to hold off on that until you have more complete information,
your call, because I will also be deducting $5.00 in Corral Cash for each incorrect Guess (of all four designations).

And I will deduct $10.00 in Corral Cash for each infranction in the Change One Letter Game (strictly enforced...ahem...)
And as usual, you may not post two times in a row
(you have to wait for another Member to post next before guessing again).

That's easy, right? Well...call me next week and explain it to me once you have it figured out.

Keep in mind, I have five kids, the job from hell, ebay auctions to be listed,
and a bad case of enuii and severe cranial agitation combined,
so I won't be on top of this 24 hours a day, but I'll try and keep up with y'all.

The person who wins this Three-Letter Change One Letter Game wins the CGC book.

Sound good?

Good!

Let's play.

The Game begins after I post the first word (in my next post...the post following this one...coming right up...right now...or in a minute or two...):

And that's the first of the four designations!

So that's $50.00 in Corral Cash for you!

Congratulations Linda!

There are three individual designations remaining:

Issue Number.

CGC Label color.

CGC Grade.

Remember (check the rules in the first post), you get $50 in Corral Cash for each correct guess of an individual designation,
$200 if you guess all four correctly. BUT! You will get a deduction if you guess even one of the four incorrectly.

So think strategy folks! Strategy!

And also remember, only the winner of the COL Game itself will win the comic itself. By itself. By yourself. Itself...

Good luck!

All that remains is the CGC Grade (no correct guesses yet) and you will have all four designations. Remember, STRATEGY!

The first to post all four designations correctly gets the $200 in Corral Cash. BUT! There are deductions if you post even one of the four incorrectly.

I am currently unable to wade through the previous posts, but I will get to them later tonight and spank you all accordingly.

Hi gang! #hello#

I didn't forget about ya!

It's just that The Charlton Gang has been contending with a rampaging cold (yeah, all of us) all week so I've been a bit...busy.

Anyways, good going so far, keep up the good work, I'll be catching up on deductions and additions
to your Corral Cash if needed, and just for a little reminder of what you are playing for, here it is,
the Turner variant #203, signed by Michael Turner:

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

UPDATE!!!

Given that we are up to Page 15 in this Game, and all of the guesses for the designation
of the CGC book have been won by Camper (well...one to Linda)...

I am adding to the booty by adding a Corral Cash Award of $150 to the winner!

Goooood luck, there's only about 76,482 more three letter words in the English language!

Use your street smarts and your vocabulary-driven skills and wrap this one up!

And yeah, I'll be back to slap some double-posters after I put the Charlton Kidlets to bed...
