View Full Version : This Thread Got Pulled By The Ebay Pink-Shirt Gestapo!

jaydeebee

A horrifying and shocking post and thread started by your's truly just got yanked on eBay because it offended you KnoW whoM. The report-button Nazi sent his pink-shirt gestapo into action immediately (though the thread was two weeks old when it finally attracted his attention).

The thread was a reaction to Hugo Chavez's idiotic rant at the United Nitwits Club two weeks ago, which was the follow-up to Iranian janitor, I mean, "president" Mahmoud Amartinijimmyjed's opening act.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs when two insane "leader's" can broadcast their ramblings to the world, but one regular guy gets sanctioned for pointing out how crazy they are. But then that's the nazi way; crush free-speech, rule the world.

Nazis, I hate those guys!

THIS IS THE THREAD DEEMED TOO SHOCKINGLY HORRIFYING FOR EBAY!

Is VENEZUELA an ISLAMIC NATION now?
jaydeebee (760 ) View Listings | Report Sep-21-06 11:14 PDT

Has Hugo Chavez turned Venezuela into an Islamic state
now? Considering how he has adopted the radical islamic
rhetoric of calling Bush and the U.S. devils(Satan).

Is that why dpx no longer posts here? Has she
been forced into wearing a bhurka and pretending she can not
read or write? I am afeared for our little girl_saurus_X!

I remember seeing this threadon ebay. Didn't think ot was that shocking. #dunno#
Guess that's what happens when one person disagrees and doesn't have the balls to just say so.

jaydeebee
10-04-2006, 02:47 PM
You're right, the RB Nazi really shows a lack of balls. But more than that, he shows that he is in agreement with fanatics like Amartinijimmyjed and Chavez. Either because he fears them or because he is just like them. It's sad to know that there are such spineless sniveling little cowards in the world, without balls. :x

You're not alone.

I had each and every one of the threads I started there at the beginning of the summer yanked.

One of them was to commemorate our U.S. war dead on Memorial Day. No comment from me on that one, it's just too pitiful.

As for it being KMW, I just don't know. It would be easy enough for anyone to hit the report button. Perhaps someone who just wants to push your buttons and or get KMW castigated further (Is that possible?).

Unless ebay makes broad changes to their discussion board policy (not likely), or all of the discussion board gremlims and trolls decide to hold up 7/11s instead (much more likely), nothing is going to change anytime soon.

I remember seeing both threads about the Chavez fiasco and the Memorial Day remembrance. I could see them yanking the Chavez thread but the heroes thread thing? Did they actually YANKED it? Damn, what has this country gone to, the dogs? Can't they understand that they are freely able to do things like that today because they fought for the freedom that we cherish today. The pinko libbies is pissing me off!!!! :x

One day last week on the local news, there is this private fundraising effort to raise money for WW2 vets to travel to Washington, DC. These vet are poor and home-bound, yet they have raised enough money to transport them to the Memorial for WW2 in Washington. I saw lots of vets in wheelchairs and oxygen tanks looking around in awe of the memorial. I was in awe as I see those great heroes standing together. I got to thinking what the world would be like if we had lost WW2, it would be scary and we probably wouldn't know freedom anymore. My point is, can't those liberals see anything at face value. :x Let alone yanking the thread? :x

First, let me again thank my watchful friend for alerting me to this latest round of childish accusations & failure to accept reponsibity for violating basic standards of polite discourse as proscribed by the eBay boards.

Thank you as well, CG. (As you surmise, I had NOTHING to do with the deletions.)

Jay, you and your companions have turned the eBay site into your own personal dumping ground for angry, racist diatribes against - among others - our Muslim sisters and brothers.

It is this toxicity that has driven so many posters - including myself - away, and not the occasional (and often justified) removal of offensive postings.

However, no reproach which I could here offer could rebuke you as elegantly as your own words, so let these stand as testimony to the twin dangers of fear and ignorance.

I note with delighted surprise that one of your threads has attracted forgiving and compassionate commentary by an Indonesian Muslim, so kudos on this!

Such is the heart of Islam, of course: that rage and terror be met with forgiveness and understanding.

Praise be to all our Gods and loving truths.

Sir.

I want you to know that I am through with you, and through with ebay discussion boards.

I don't know what kind of sick perverse pleasure you get from what you do, but I have come to realize that you bring out the worst in me, whether by accident or design.

I am not a racist, I have never posted a racist diatribe in all my time on eBay. If I have, I'd certainly like to see it, because I was one of the ones clamoring to keep the board on topic, about comics! You were most often the one posting diatribes.

So enjoy that board my friend, I don't believe I will return as I have no further interest in being ridiculed by the likes of you. I still believe you are responsible for getting those threads pulled, because you have done so before.

I hope the deafening echoes of silence and the lack of discourse are pleasing to your delicate sensibilites.

Goodbye.

jay,

A couple of mornings a week, I am confronted on my way to work by a disheveled wild-eyed dude who I always come across in mid rant about God knows what. Generally, I give him a couple of bucks for coffee, nod at him and go on my merry way. Picture in your mind Doc Brown from Back to the Future on an acid trip. Anyways, he doesn't keep me from going about my daily routine.

jaydeebee

I suppose that's true, there is wisdom in what you have said...the coffee really hit the spot by the way.

I don't know why I let this irritating person get under my skin, I guess deep down I really want everyone to like me and am bothered when a prejudiced bigot full of hateful names comes along and starts passing down decrees about others(good thing I'm not bitter, huh?).

It saddens me that kwm doesn't like me and thinks that I post racist diatribes, but he's wrong and probably nobody likes him in the real world either. Looks like I've got him whupped on both fronts, the cyber-world and the real one.

Down with extremists, up with people....or down with up with people, ah, make something up! You've not heard the last of me! #nunchuck#

More 'War on Terror' racist paranoia

British holidaymakers staged an unprecedented mutiny - refusing to allow their flight to take off until two men they feared were terrorists were forcibly removed.

The extraordinary scenes happened after some of the 150 passengers on a Malaga-Manchester flight overheard two men of Asian appearance apparently talking Arabic.

"Passengers told cabin crew they feared for their safety and demanded police action. Some stormed off the Monarch Airlines Airbus A320 minutes before it was due to leave the Costa del Sol at 3am. Others waiting for Flight ZB 613 in the departure lounge refused to board it." - Daily Mail

BoingBoing comments:

"Shocking -- who'd have thought that putting signs everywhere telling you that you were in danger of terrorists and that terrorists were everywhere and that you should look out for suspicious terrorism behavior would turn normal people into witch-hunting racist mobs?"

My most recent thread to get pulled by the Pink-Shirt Gestapo is the thread I titled "Thank God, There are no others." A little poke in the eye to kwm who felt it necessary to equate the shooting tragedy Monday at Virginia Tech with the actions of U.S. Marines in Iraq.(from nearly a year ago)

I want to say that it was wrong of me to call kwm a bastard, even though I thought what he did was despicable and probably aimed directly at me, because afterall, I personally am THE cause of all the suffering, war and misery in the world. What he did was post an anti-war thread using what I felt was a disrepectful comparison between war and what was at that moment a raw wound in my community and indeed the whole country; the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

So eager is he to talk down this country and our people that he was willing to use the deaths of young men and women as well as educators, one of whom was a holocaust survivor as fodder for his agenda. When I called him for it, I got the pink slap, either from kwm or his new best friend oj.

So I'm sorry that I called kwm a bastard.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my apology from him for him calling me a racist. He's yet to provide one syllable of mine to prove that I am.

Here's the offending thread for those that missed it...

Thank God, there are no others.

Sad pathetic troll bast@rd.

Yep, that was pretty much it, at least for my part. But unlike some posters there, I don't self-report my threads and postings. I let stay there for everyone to see. Anyone who read that and was offended, I later in the thread offered and apology explaining that I was quite upset over the events on Monday.:(

I was blissfully ignorant of your dispute with kwm!

Not knowing the details I would like to say that I support his right to say what he would!

I even more strongly support your right to use words to cut him off at the knees and feed his metaphoric spleen to him as his thoughts lie dying!

The great thing about freedom of speech is that what is left over in the end is that the forces of self-involvement and pettiness leave talking to themselves and those of us with IQs and backbones move on feeling better about things and taking away the few nuggets of truth the process has coined.

Lies are forever and they never change. Facts are irrelevant until it becomes well known that they matter. Truth is the constant product of active minds saying what they know to be true -- even when it is not popular or trendy. The eBay Secret States Police (gestapo - in German) are trying to quiet the squeeky wheel in their best (sic) bureaucratic manner. Think "it is porn if she pricks her finger since the reverse is porn" as a mindset.

Stick to your guns but remember to listen for any real reasoned arguments that might improve your understanding. Only a wise man can learn from a fool. Stir the pot just enough to keep things moving. Remember: your opponent's last original thought was decades ago. He is expressing himself on a topic that others have given him his opinions. You are not arguing with him but with those who told him what to think.

The process for your opponent is an attempt to be accepted and liked by his group of would-be friends as he echoes and defends topics that he, himself, would likely not care a wit about one way or the other. Don't take his rantings personally! You are not a person to him. You are "different" thinking and the beast within him is trying to drive you away so that his idea of "what should be" can be reflected in those around him.

Next time just offer to chip in to the fund to hire detectives to aid in the search for his father's identity. Mentioning a website that offers reasonably-priced Dog Collars as thoughtful Mother's Day gifts works, too.

Oh sorry, I was watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture...
Yep, one of the big reasons why I don't bother to start threads here anymore(at eBay) is
because of the button-pusher(s). I seems that eBay has a bot or something
that just eliminates any post that gets reported, whether warranted or not.
Heck, this one will probably get yanked...why even bother to finish it....?

Foul language, harassment, spam, nudity, (nudity?) I can understand,
but one on one conversation and discussions of everyday events and
that sort of thing? That does not make sense. What is this, CHINA or
something?

So what about it? Any moderators watching this board? Can you please
