Mid-Ohio-Con in Columbus is moving to the downtown convention center this year.

This show is usually a good one to pick up a few cool items and met some of the industries best creators.

This will be the first time in several years that I will be set up to sell. Hope the crowds come out to the new venue this year!

I would had loved to go to the con but I'm going to be in FL that weekend for a family reunion!! :-(

Mid-Ohio-Con was a great convention for us this year!!

The crowd seemed fairly small but the people there sure were buying (from us at least).

Top selling items in no particular order:

Lots of discounted graphic novels/trade paper backs.

A couple boxes of 1/2 guide SA & BA Marvel & DC.

Over a short box of 1/2 guide Valiants!

Close to a half box of 1/2 guide Archie Comics.

8 boxes or so of 50 cent comics. Nice runs from all companies from around 1980 to 2004.

Picked up Deadpool #54 & 55 in a $1 box on Fri night.....took them back to my table and put them on my board Sat morning for $25 each and they were gone within a couple hours (if only all comics would move that fast!)

2006 was a great year for comic conventions!

Hey Linda!

My Bro and friend (who sells comics with us) went to the convention.

My wife was doing Thanksgiving visiting so she wasn't going to come to the show.....however.....right before we got to the convention early Fri my driveshaft on my truck fell off....so she needed to come over Sunday to pick up the comics I hauled over. Just as she was pulling into Columbus on Sun afternoon she had a flat tire with our van!!!

Oh well....we got the tire fixed...got the comics home....had my father-in-law pick up the truck on a flatbed and replaced the U-joint the next week for $150 so everything's back to normal (as it ever gets #creep#).
