Both books are highly overvalued. There are plenty about.

As for the "can't even read or handle". In this case it was extreme care that allowed this book to survive so it is unlikely one would want to handle it. That being said it is a myth that you cannot read or handle a CGC book. Many people do crack the case and enjoy the book. It is simply that they feel more secure in purchasing CGC books than raw. Many people keep the books safely slabbed. Face it with all the reprint out there there is no reason to crack the case on a ASM 129.

All of the books I have slabbed I have either read or already had a copy and just wanted one in nicer shape and preserved in a better package than a standard bag and board.

This is a great deal if taken for under say $350 inclusive.

There's some potential flips here but it's mostly bronze Marvel dupes, Dells, Charlton, and very few DC's.

So, for a 9.8 at $11,000, what are the chances of a possible 10 at what estimated price? $30,000. Good grief!! Who would pay for a $5 plastic slab and a great bronze book? Shillers?
