If you found a weird looking lamp or doorknob and cleaned it....and a magic comic book genie popped out of it and gave you five comic book wishes...what would you wish for?

He also says they can only be issues you don't already have!

Just something you love for the story/artwork/color..whatever.

Here's mine: (Although there's WAYYYY more than five for me) LoL!

I'm not a big Supes fan, but, this is classic.

would not need to be 9.0, either.

I reckon I'd just take the 5 most expensive books, then sell them to buy the 500 books I want.

Thanx Jnine, Jordan..those are some cool picks too. I like the Spectre one.

Taking the most expensive ones is easy but I'm not surprised...for real I'd probably go the sensible route as well but I really do want these ones some day and while they're not as expensive as Tec 27 or Action 1 they are difficult to attain in good shape so to me they're tough ones too.

Here's my picks.

Cinderella Love 26 - I just love this cover. There are a few romance issues that the cover just draws me in.

Batman 84

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb173/nocutename/Batman84-1.jpg

Detective 211 - It's really a toss up between this one and Tec 203. I love the story in 211 so I based on story and cover this one.

Brave and the Bold 23

Brave and the Bold 18 - I think this photo was cropped too much on the left.

I would have to start with the two comics I need to complete my Carl Barks collection,
Donald Duck March Of Comics 20
Donald Duck Tells About Kites

And the first apperance of Oswald The Rabbit in comics in New Fun Comics #1

And round it off with,
WDC&S #1 and Looney Tunes #1 (Dell)

Let's see, 5 books I want the most, but don't have.

Spidey #1
FF #1
Avengers #1
TOS #39

And one Golden Age book, Captain America #1

I don't have pictures of them all, but my five would be rather obvious choices

Superman (vol.1) #1
Action Comics #1
X-Men (1963) #1
Adventure Comics #247
Amazing Fantasy #15

(you sure I can only have five?)

For me it would be:

Action Comics #1 (because that's the only way I would ever own one)
Superman (vol 1) #1 (Ditto)
Adventure Comics #103
Wonder Woman (1941) #1 or All Star Comics (1940) #8
Marvel Comics (1939) #1

I was thinking the same thing.

I'm more of a quantity guy if I can pick up a bunch rather than just one or a few too.

Hah, they pic they deleted off mine was Superman # 23 where he's swimming towards a German sub after some Nazi's torpedoed a ship (I assume during wartime) and he's PISSED!

I guess the war is too touchy a subject for photobucket.

Hank, you are the only person I know of who runs around cleaning random lamps and doorknobs, you must get some really interesting expressions from bystanders. :D

This is going to be a hard choice, but here goes my list:

5. Adventure Comics #40

Can I ask for, "Any comic I ever owned and got rid of?"

Then choose 4 special comics? :D
