4zack's wife had the same concerns when I asked if he wanted to meet. "You're meeting who? From where?"

So he showed her some pictures from Italy that I had posted on the Soapbox, and that seemed to calm her down, seeing I could almost pass for normal on a non-comic thread.

Funny... using the Soapbox as a baseline for normalcy. That board has more extreme to-the-right-of-Rush Limbaugh posters than any board on eBay.

Sorry to hear that didn't come out good, but seriously, I'd expect loads of collections to pop up this year due to the recession. Maybe somebody in your area is scooping up lots.

Yeah, everybody and their brother has an ad out in the local paper (literally 30+ weekly ads) :

"I BUY COMIC BOOKS!"

That's where the all of the collections are going.

That is disappointing, The Charlton Guy. I missed out on one SA collections myself just last month and he was local too. :mad:
