4-D pics of our baby-to-be!

Hey doods...

for those of you who didn't know already, the wife and I are having a baby that's due January 5th. It's a girl, and her name is going to be Natalie. We've been preparing and planning like crazy as this is our first child. We went to a place today and had 4D ultrasound pictures/vidoes made. Apparently this technology has come a long way. It was completely amazing. Here's a look at what we were seeing:

The entire time she was putting her arms and hands and feet in front of her face. The tech had me pressing on the top of my wife's belly, which in turn was the baby's butt to get her to move around. On the screen you could actually see the baby move when I pushed. It was easily the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I'm sure it'll pale in comparison to the actual birth, but I havent done that yet... :-D

Hi that's GREAT, STL!! Januray is a great month to be born in, my birthday is Jan. 30th and I believe that pasnat's birthday is the 19th of Jan. so she will be in good company!! :cool: I also have a sister and a brother-in-law born that month too!!

Natalie is a pretty name. What's her middle name going to be? Plus remember we like seeing new baby pic even out of the womb!! :smile:

It's Natalie Elizabeth. After months of torture with a book of 100,000 baby names, we finally agreed on something. :lol:

You can be sure I'll be back with plenty of pics once the deed is done.

Wow! Those 4-D photos are amazing!

I think they were still using a modified Poloroid One-Step for my kid's ultrasounds...

As for childbirth? Be prepared my man, be prepared...

As a five time veteran, I can tell you that for the father, it's a lot like going into a fullfledged swordfight armed with a toothpick. It is a somewhat helpless feeling, but just being there is the important part. I wouldn't have missed any of the "blessed events" for the world. I can't believe that fathers used to be excluded from the birthing room. Scary.
