Years ago, in Don and Maggie Thomson's The Buyer's Guide (before it became a clone of Wizard) there was an article about the Four Color series, the numbering and collecting. I've always liked Four Color comics, and they mentioned that Betty Betz's Dollface and Her Gang was the holy grail of FC collectors. I had to admit I'd never heard of it, so I started looking. Tonight it finally popped up on E-Bay, and I had to grab it in between talking about Disneyworld and 9/11. I have little doubt that it's awful.

You're right,it looks dreadful.lol.Still cool comic though,not a bad price either.Wish I'd been snagging cheap GA books instead of modern stuff to read.I tried it for a while but never stayed with it.

Let us know how the interior art looks.

I am with you too! Those moderns keep dragging me back in. But I love reading them.

That looks like a fun book let us know how it is.

Well, Dollface is here, and as expected, the artwork is a trip. Nice of them to let an eleven year old try her hand at drawing comics.

I think this is actually going to be fun to read though, it seems to have more than a juvenile sense of humor. Like Mom telling Dollface you used to be sort of pretty.

Even stranger art? Check.
The total of its parts is even odder? Check
Cheap but unavailable? Check check.

24 hours ago I'd never heard of this book. Now I have to track one down.
