with 76+ members you can't expect much to be happening. You will always get lots of OT banter on every forum it only stands out more on forums with less traffic.
If you want to direct discussions in another way posting is about the only way to do it .... unless you direct more people here.
Hi yarmak! Nice to see you around again! Hope things are groovy for you in Australia!
It's true that we're not as busy as we used to be, but I still love this place. There is a great bunch of folks here that DO post and the atomosphere is great. We're adding a few new members here and there and eventually we will hit the "big time". I'm patient and dedicated to the board for the long haul...maybe by this time next year we will have surpassed 100 registered members! #woohoo#
Stick with us and don't be shy about posting!

If you build it, they will come (most of the time). I've never really had a problem getting people into the site. Getting them to buy something is a completely different story, but just getting forum traffic isn't too tough, it just takes time. It also helps to do two things: provide as much content as you can on the forum and off, and post in other places and advetise your forum. Your best chance at getting people to sign up is to go after the ones that are already posting somewhere as they are obviously into the idea of it. Beyond that, your best bet is to cough up some cash to google for advertising, and get their bots on your site as much as possible.

no worries Hoss just that it appears to me the old corral was busier and have not been around cause we got some paving done and it was completely screwed up and now been writing a letter to fair trading over here.
It looks like a 5 year old did it :x :-(
and Mr Dickhead who we got to do the paving has been very unhelpful and will supposedly show tomorrow after not seeing him since the 23rd so we shall see.......
not compacted not cut properly no sand between pavers - they clink when walked on
apparently you do not sweep the sand in between the pavers but "let the wind blow it in" I asked if the wind came out of his arse
sigh
