The revenge of the turkeys! You need to put the sound up on this one. It could be my on sadistic twisted mind but the screaming off camera was too funny.

I have no idea how to embed the video so here's the linky

LOL. I have canadian geese where I live and for some reason they hate my friend. She doesn't visit too often anymore but when she did they would go after her. One time we dove into her car and they surround the car. I was cracking up because the geese are normally very passive and just let you walk past.

Goddamn ex-urban turkeys.

They need to be eradicated.

One chewed through my front passenger-side tire last week.

I'm still here...#creep#

I've just been in "lurking mode" for a few months. #lurk#

Crazy stuff happening on the home front and the job from hell has prevented me from being my usual sunshiny self...#angelic#.

But I'll try and catch you all up this weekend (in 10,000 words or less, I promise).

Here, I'll go for less than a hundred words, how's that?

This has been my latest endeavor:

www.dantesbooks.com (http://www.dantesbooks.com)

I'm having my first advertised "Pre-Opening Sale" this weekend (I officially open the doors on December 1):

http://rochester.craigslist.org/bks/1482689332.html

Set-up for the shop has sucked every available hour out of my life for the last four months, but I'm almost there!

And yes, I do have a number of comics in the back room, but a good friend and business-neighbor has the lock in the LCS department, so I'm sticking to the used books. I'll try and post photos of the shop later this weekend.

Well, now that I have officially hijacked the "Turkeys Gone Wild" thread, here you go folks, by popular request, photos of C.G.'s new entrenpeneurial digs, "Dante's Books"

About 4,00 to 5,000 books out front here. Good stuff. I have a back room that is twice as big (still very much in the works), and once I get built-in shelving up and running there, I will be able to stock about 10,000+ books.

Fun! #woohoo#

There are two piles of reader copies on the floor in the back room there for the kiddies. One pile of Batmans, Supes, BA JLA and such and one pile of Tweety, Disney, Archie, etc.

Aside from those readers, only about 10 or 15 collectible books, but I plan on swapping them with my LCS bud from down the street for a sweet FF #39 and #40. He already has a lock on the local comic biz and I don't want to compete.

Beautiful store and best of luck! Round these parts, there is a local book store with a couple locations called 'Book Dispensary.' They've been around forever so it must be a profitable gig.
