This is an interesting thread as it brings to mind that condition is king when on the open market

Yep. And unfortunately, there are probably a lot of people like me who have solid SA collections, but since we never thought of them as investments, they are in somewhat less-than-mint condition. My copy of Adventure 247 (First LSH) looks like it was placed in a tub of water overnight.
I read every one of those books. And only a few are bagged and boarded, and those well after I had purchased them. Most of my Fantastic Fours from the mid to late 60s didn't get bagged until about six years ago.
Oh well, when you see the Pasnat Pedigree go on sale, everyone will have to caveat his/her own emptor.

At least your comics were read and loved Pasnat as I think everybody here collection would be the same
