Cheap stuff feeler - any interest?

I just picked up about 8 boxes of cheap stuff, mainly Marvel/DC from 80s and a little 90s mainly in mid grades from a craigslist ad. What I wanted was his trades and magazines so now I have all of these comics left over!

This is typical bargain box stuff but cheap fillers or a way to try a few new things for a low price. Pretty decent runs of Avengers, Iron Man, New Teen Titans, Daredevil, Amazings, MTU, FF, etc etc. The vast majority are Fines and VFs, some lower grades and no NMinty's that I recall. They were not bought from bargain boxes but were not handled with extreme care when reading or during storage. Main defects are spine stress and read wrinkles. I have done a quick condition sort and have them broken down to VG or better (most in the Fine to Very Fine range), G or better and Fair. Even for cheapies I am still pretty strict on grading so there should be no surprises (no missing pages, extreme writing, tape, other catastrophic defects unless noted.)

If anyone is interested and wants to send me a want list please do. If there is enough interest I will start listing them on this post otherwise I can try and fill want lists through PMs. If no one is interested I will save them for a show down the road since they are already graded and sorted.

The price will be pretty cheap (start at $1 ea, 50 for $25 and then a price drop once I have sold through enough to make me happy) and shipping will be whatever it costs me for however you want them shipped.

OK, here is an updated list. I might have to stop before finishing to get some sleep (I worked all night last night) but hopefully I can make a good start on them. Unless noted, they are all at least VG or better, typically around F to VF for the most part with the exception of most of the Mark Jeweler's which are pretty much right at VGs. The lesser grades are marked either G for good or better or FR for around fair (still complete, covers attached and no significant pieces missing unless noted) and m for Mark Jeweler's issues.

To start with they are all $1 each or 50 for $25 (any additional above 50 are 50 cents each) plus exact postage for whatever method you want these to leave South Carolina to get to you, insure them or assume the risk. If an issue number is red that means it is sold!

Price - All are $1 each or 50 for $25. If you buy 50 for $25 any additional comics are 50 cents each. You can either PM me or post on the thread. As soon as someone tells me the money is on the way I will edit the post with that item in it and either change the color to red or just delete the item to let people know they are no longer available.

Shipping - Whatever it costs me from South Carolina to your location. I prefer to use the USPS but can go with any other method you want. I ship in well packed boxes unless requested otherwise.

Payment - Paypal, check or money order. If you are going to be in the Charleston, SC area I can meet you and take cash.

Condition - unless noted everything is VG or better. For the most part these are between Fine and Very Fine but there some VGs, especially the Mark Jeweler editions and the issues right around there in those runs (that is when the original owner was in the USAF and did not have a very good storage place.) G means good up to not quite very good. FR is around fair up to just below a good. Unless noted, even in the lower grades, there are no covers detached, missing pages, missing coupons or large pieces, tape, etc, etc. These are from a collection that was read and enjoyed by it's owner but have not been bounced around bargain boxes for the last 30 years.

I hope everyone enjoys digging through these lists, I actually did have a pretty good time typing them up! Since many of these were from the 80's it was pretty nostalgic, that was the time frame that I was most active doing conventions and I remember some of these being HOT back then!

In an effort to move some cheap paper let's lower the price of any of the lower grade comics (those in FR or G) to a straight 50 cents each to start or 20 for $5 (25 cents each!) Remember that all are complete, with no pages or significant pieces missing, no tape, no coupons cut and with covers attached. There are about 250 so in Fair or Good, there have to be a few you wanted to take a peek at just to read!
