Nice! I am pretty sure that was the same George Olshevsky (sp?) that put out the Marvel Indices with the Ken Steacy covers on them in the late 70's early 80's. It is amazing how nice the golden age Flashes and other comics they were panning over in the spinner rack looked. I remember when I first started doing shows in 1983 pretty much anything from 1970 up (or from 1964 -70 in lower grades) was in bargain boxes, like the one that they showed early on in the video with the 12c Atoms in it. I completed my first run of Adventure comics from 301-380 and Doom Patrols for under $2 each and they were all in Fine or better!

Wow, that's a cool video. Interesting to see the books on the new comics racks.

Interesting? How about terrifying? GA Human Torch and Flash on a spinner rack, with no bag or backing, so the kids can just walk up and fold the corners back without taking them out. No mention of Tec 27 or Action 1, just Supes and Batman 1. And mentioning that sometimes they go for 150 and sometimes for 300, with no mention of condition. I'm starting to feel very old.
I was buying comics that year at San Jose Comics and at Barbarian Books (in I think Wheaton Md, a DC suburb).
