This is a great book! After 12 great self-contained stories, we now prepare for the three part "origin" story. I really enjoyed the series so far and I'm interested in how JH got that messed up face!

Has this story already been told in the past or is it all new?

I cannot say for certain but my impression is it has not been told before. I stopped with issue #6 not because I did not like it but I could not afford it.

In the original series his origin was in issues # 7 and 8.

The 3 issue origin has concluded and it was a pretty good story. I don't think this book has had a bad issue yet, storywise anyway. I would like to have Luke Ross come back for the art duties though.

I was buying this title and enjoying it until my LCS stopped stocking any extra copies.(They now only order it for those who have pull lists) Since I no longer believe in the direct market or "pull-lists" I don't get to buy this book anymore, which is too bad, it was a good title. I guess it's my own fault for my stubborn refusal to conform to the direct markets demand that we all have pull-lists, but oh well.:roll: Story of my life...
