The thread was semi-interesting, but in the end, I'm still more comfortable here and on the Soapbox, where I've been participating on a lot of political threads. I'll check out the eBay board from time to time, but traffic is really slow there and some threads stay on the front page for days.

Why the dire need to know all the dirty details? Problems were had, I left the boards and pretty much haven't been back. Nothing to it beyond that.

Just the skinny. Might have given me an idea of a couple undercurrents I thought I had noticed on the ebay boards.

Quick and dirty version? Well, the comics board used to be considered one of the friendliest in the eBay world... at least according to a few of the regulars and a couple of newbies who came by with questions.

Then it took a nastier turn. It just wasn't fun anymore.

It's like if your favorite bar goes from being a NY Yankee bar to one where everyone loves the Mets. You just don't want to hang out there anymore.
