Whats the best way to take pictures for your listings? I currently scan all my comics, but my scanner is almost 10 years old so it runs a little slow. Is a camera a better route? Does it provide a good of detail as a scanner? Just trying to a little time in my day.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Scan the good stuff, and take pics of inexpensive lots.

Pretty much. (I had a longer reply typed, but I accidentally hit the REPLY TO THREAD button.)

What everyone said. I find taking pictures a pain too and only do them if I have a ton of books that I am listing at once.

Never used one. Can't imagine it would be a good idea.
Obviously, sheet-fed is out.
I wouldn't use anything but a flatbed. I have a multifunction Epson Workforce 610. It was a good deal on Black Friday, but probably not a great deal at the current going price. But the scan quality is pretty decent. I crop my scans in PhotoScape anyways, which is a bit lossy, but does a nice job of getting 600kb down to 150kb.
Best advice is to look for good prices, and then look for on-line reviews.
Good Luck!
thank you, guessing that wand type scanners would make it easier on page scans.

Also if you ever plan on doing graded books, not every scanner will work on them. There is/was a good thread on the cgc boards about that with some recopmendations and examples.it probably buried 10 pages deep by now.
