I noticed Marvel has a hardback out of classic Marvelman.I'm asuming this is the stuff from L.Miller & Sons after they quit reprinting the Fawcett Captain Marvel stories back in the 1950's.That's fine but not something I really care about so I won't be buying it.
Marvel now owns the right to Marvelman but, again,I am assuming "not Miracleman".
Am I correct in this?
If yes I can't see any point. It was Miracleman that brought the character back into the spotlight and without the back story to Miracleman it's just another Captain Marvel retread, who was a retread of Superman.
I don't really care what happens to Marvelman without the Alan Moore spin on the character.I wnat to know how the original run was supposed to play out.
If McFarland?/Gaiman?/Who? still owns the rights to Miracleman, are we not back to square one? More lawsuits and the final story still never to be told?
Dang.Now I've given myself a headache.
