Apologies if this has been covered before, but i'd like to hear the current feeling about the value of Canadian reprints vs. the US editions. Going back a number of years, the OPG used to print a discussion of this that never changed edition after edition, and I believe it referenced them bringing 60-70% of US values. They stopped printing that some time back, and in this year's edition (on page 1015) they are discussed in the context of variants, but I didn't see any reference to values.

With the onset of variant mania, I have seen some advertisers imply that there is a premium attached to a "rare Canadian variant". My own opinion is that if the book is identical to the US version, ie not reduced in length, the value is probably the same. In cases where the page count is reduced from 52 to 36 (alas, which is the case in my Batman 47) then of course it's worth less. I just received a Canadian copy of Complete Mystery #2 from Superior in Dundas, Ontario, and I think it's complete. What are your opinions on whether the value should be more, less, or equal to the Marvel edition?

I put it up in the "What Have You..." thread. Thanks as always for your thoughts.
