A new book by Warren Ellis. I have this pre-ordered. Figured I'd give it a try. Artwork looks good and I like most of Ellis' writing.

Ellis, like any other writer, runs hot and cold. This is far more in the realm of the stuff he is good at than more mainstream books. I saw this preview, or most of it anyway, in the Marvel Previews. With Larocca doing art it was a definite PU for me.

Marvel Previews is where I first saw it too. I was just too lazy to find the book and scan the preview pages. And you're right, this does look like something he could do really well. I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

I'm 29...dunno when the other newuniverse came out....but I've always collected outside the mainstream.....so I may have just missed it.

I didn't like it much either..
