The inside states that it reprints 1-3 and was distribed with Cassette tape. I had the first issue of Valiant Super Mario Brothers and the interior does not look the same at all. I looked at a few sites and did not find it for sale. Thanks for your help.

Looks like there were six Super Mario Bros. books, which were later reprinted in a hardcover collection, then in two special editions. Scroll down to the last scan.

Thanks. So it is the Super Mario Bros series. I was hoping that there was another book reprinted like one. It is way cute and I think my nieces will like it. I may have to look at getting the single issue to complete the story then.

This would be extremely desirable to Valiant collectors. I've never seen it before.
I cannot seem to find another one on the few places I checked out. I guess it is not considered a comic because Mycomicshop and Atomicavenue are usely two good resources to at least see what it collects. The book is not in minty condition. You can see in the scan the white showing through on the front cover. It has either one or two other spots like that in the back. The interior is fine (I read it last night :o and now have a strong desire to play the game.)
I looked at the prices for the other ones and my is gaming comics so expensive? I am starting to get on a Sonic the Hedgehog kick to but the online prices are crazy for these.

Post this over on the valiant boards. Those guys will know exactly what you have and how much its worth.
Looks to be in around VF/NM condition just from the scans.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was going to actually list it tonight on ebay to see if I had any takers. It's not VF at all. There are three small areas that the cover is worn thin or the gloss is completely removed. I cannot find them on the back cover but there are two and one on the front look at the rock between the princess and lugi.

Just by looking at the cover makes me want to play the game all over again. I can sense a nostalgia feel for those kids who played the game back then to want these. Not just Valiant collectors but Mario fans as well.

If it has any isbn numbers you might find it here:

I read it and it made me want to play the game. I used to have it on gameboy but sold that last year.

Thanks, I searched the isbn number already without any success. I posted this because I was curious if there was another book or to which series this was from. I definitely looks like it is the first series called Super Mario Bros. I was planning on selling it but perhaps I will post it over at the Valiant boards for them to look at it as well.
All your help is appreciated.
