Reviewing rules of this game……

This game is entirely devoted to Silver Age DC Comics (from 1956-1969)

As usual, each round will be worth (50) VbBux and there will be 20 rounds total. In addition to VbBux, each correct answer gives you 1 match point. Whoever has the most match points after the 20th round will claim victory!! Also, extra bonus VbBux will be given to the winner! AND......

The winner of "mystery cover" game XIV will also win a couple SA DC comics. (to be posted later)

New rounds for the time being are either at night, early in the morning before I leave for work, or on the weekends. Christmas break is coming up in another week so I will try to make some daytime posts then.

I'm on the west coast so it's a difference of three hours. I usually don't get on until around 10 PM PST(1 AM EST) these days. But I do manage to catch it every so often. :wink:

I grew up reading DC SA books in the 1970's.
I'd pay 5 cents or 10 cents per back-issue at used book stores.
And I was savvy enough to keep/collect every single one of them and not to let any of my young friends back then handle/read them.

In Justice League #4, Green Arrow was inducted but the Flash first touted a character who had had a recent adventure with the JLA fighting Kanjar Ro over in his comic Mystery in Space #75, Adam Strange. The story was a continuation to the storyline in JLA #3. Sadly. it would be a full decade before he was mentioned again!

It's a great story where Kanjar Ro becomes more powerful than the entire original JLA and Adam defeats him while the JLA stands around like statues. No hint of the JLA members on the cover though!
