Has anyone else see much on this new show on TNT? From what I have seen it looks like it might be a take off the movie "Battle: Los Angeles" that came out last March????

It's definitely an 'after the aliens attack' series and I kinda like Noah Wylie.

I do like Noah. He plays an everyman, if you will.

It premieres June 19th.

So, it was not spectacular.

My fav part was actually the intro/credits giving us the history thru the kids art therapy.

Most of the characters seems pretty bland except Major Davis, i mean Collin Pope, the dude played by the guy that played Major Davis in the various Stargates.

Will give it a shot, though.

Aww wow I didn't even recognize him with the Eddie Vedder look lol.

I really enjoyed the series, and liked all the characters with the exception of Weaver, who was incredibly cold and calculating for me, though I understand his motivations.

It’s definitely shaping up to be some good Science fiction in my opinion, though. I work for the social media marketing company that is doing some of the campaigning for the show, so there had definitely been some professional anticipation as the show got closer, but also personal as I have been a genre fan for many years. All in all I wasn't at alldisappointed, especially given all the potential they have set up in just these 2 eps.

One plot point that seemed interesting was the design of the mechs vs the shape of the skitters, I can't wait to see that explained.
