View Full Version : Why so slow?

Recently I noticed that this site is EXTREMELY slow loading. I almost do not come here at breaks at work because it takes forever to navigate. What is causing it and will it ever be fixed?

OX, when you say recently do you mean last few hours or last few days?

It was slow this morning for me. Now, it is fine. Hope that helps with the brainstormin' going on.

It's great Hoss, it was slow for me for a few days there. Working well now though.

It was pretty much from late Wednesday to mid Saturday. Friday it was awful. I had one post that never even got posted and I had to try again later. It was taking a good minute to load any screen.
Would you say the speed is back to normal now?

At how last night is was pretty much back to normal. Here at work it is just a touch slower but WAAAAAY better than Friday.
OK, I have tried a few new things to increase the speeds a bit more. I hope the difference is noticable.

I'm having the same problem. It took almost 3 minutes for this thread to open?
Ok, So I guess it's not working any better.
I'll keep at it and see what I can do. I'm really sorry about the slowness.
