All starting at 99 cents with low shipping costs.
Check it out.

448 auctions.
Holy crap...took me two days to scan the books and post the auctions.
What a pain in the butt.
I hope most of them sell since the total listing fees for these auctions are close to $90. I was going to do them all in larger lots but I changed my mind.
Anyway, I got a good chunk of my duplicates out there for sale now, that'll free up two boxes in my comic room.
So bid away, folks.
Buy that special someone some old comics for under a buck as a belated Xmas gift.
Buy a pile of them and give them to a needy child.
Buy them all and help CAMPER make a few bucks (heh heh).

Hi all.
I have to make more room in my house for my daughters so here's a pile more books I have up for auction.
They are Silver/Bronze Age Fantastic Four from #31 to #200, all starting at 99 cents each!
I'll have them all listed within the next few days.
Start some bidding wars...I need to pay my lawyer!!! :D

Not a bad haul on the Silver Age FF books.
Anyone interested in these two lots of books?
I'll take (serious) offers.
I gotta get rid of some comic boxes!

The Hulk books. I wish I had the money for it.:(
Nobody bidded on the FF run? Wow! That was a great price even if it was just 1 bid.

Liked MG, I wished I had the money!! But with Arthur not working (he's home on workers comp right now) we just ain't got it!! boohoo
I can't believe that there wasn't any bids on them!!

I had one bidder ask if I would sell the HULKs at a lower price AND at lower shipping.
I guess $14.99 for shipping 100 comics from Canada to the USA is highway robbery!
The question from this buyer didn't "feel right" so I didn't lower the price.
But I think I did pretty good with the 64 Silver Age FFs.

After making a deal on FF #150-200 with a fellow member, it turns out the balance of my two auctions are going to sell at least for my eBay asking price.
PLUS I've got a ton of watchers on both auctions now!
That's a good sign.

Thanks for the books Camper! That run took a big chunk out of my FF quest and the books are significantly as described (a good number probably better).

You're welcome Aaron.
I'd rather give a fellow collector a good deal on my comics than have a dealer just make money on them.
I'm glad you're satisfied with them.

Campy, I keep clicking on your links and getting the message that you don't currently have anything for sale. Did they all end yesterday, or am I doing something wrong?
camper49
02-27-2007, 12:03 PM
That's correct, MALAPROP.
I had two auctions up...one for 100 Hulk books from #102 to #200 + Annuals for $499 and one for FF #101 to #149 for $299.
Both auctions sold to the same buyer.
I have nothing listed right now but that will change real soon.
As soon as I get the time, I'll be posting some more high demand books.
camper49
03-05-2007, 11:37 PM
Well, I didn't have time to list a few books or one run of books on eBay so I listed a whole whack of them in one auction....about 16,000 of them to be precise!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=260093788469&rd=1&rd=1
Hey, that seems to be a bit high-priced, you ask?
Maybe so, or maybe not, but if there's anything in there you see that tickles your fancy, let me know. Maybe we can work something out (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
Just a word of caution, though, I probably won't break up any complete runs.

WOW!!!
Camp....If the auction doesn't sell I will definitely be interested in some lots/series!

03-06-2007, 02:27 AM
GASP!!!!!!
Seriously?!? Are you really.................quitting?
camper49
03-06-2007, 02:32 AM
No I'm not quitting.
Today was 20-cent listing day on eBay.ca so I figured I'd list a good chunk of my collection. It only cost me 20 cents CDN which is 17 cents USD for the listing.
I really don't expect anyone to pay 300 G's for 55 long boxes of comics, even though many of them are the higher demand ones.
If someone wants to pay 300 G's, I'll take it but I certainly won't ever quit buying/reading comics.
Once the auction is over and doesn't sell, I may consider selling some of the collection to interested parties.

Hey Camp, you scared me too...I ran across your auction for all/most of your books and thought you gave it up. Glad to hear why it was there, good luck on actually selling them for that price. You could buy several collections with your newly found three hundred thousand...oh and you should get the kiddies something nice too LoL. Hope everything is well in Camperland. Glad to hear about your girls.
Hank.

Thanks DT!
Yeah, I'll do anything for my daughters.
But,as expected, the books didn't sell.
Only a guy with more brains than money would pay that much.
But I did get some offers already, made some deals and I am waiting for more!
20 cents to advertise these books on eBay for a week...not a bad deal.

The best deal I made on that big auction I listed was $250 USD for my double cover copy of BATMAN #275 and $100 USD for my double cover copy of BATMAN #244.
The $100 for #244 might have been a little light but as a whole, $350 USD for both books was a great temptation so I took the deal, Howie.
Okay, here's a link to my latest round of auctions, starting with DETECTIVE COMICS from #360 to #500. Most are high grade.
Next will be BRAVE AND BOLD from around #36 to #200, most are high grade.

Well, that's it for my DETECTIVE COMICS.
I was going to keep listing past #480 to either #500 or even into #600 in lots but I don't think I'll get anything for them, even though they are mostly news-stand fresh.
Come on, folks, nice 'TEC run here from #360 to #480 for the ridicuously low price of 99 cents each.
Get 'em while they're fresh!

I think you probably should have broken them up between the really old issues and the later one.
Maybe two or three lots.
The later issues are the ones holding the early ones back.
