Took the family last night as a present to see this.
Entertaining family fare. Really good FX. Lots of classic family cliche's, but definitely worth seeing.
I went and saw this one too! It was pretty funny...definately worth a trip to the movies.

Thanks guys!! I'm hoping to go see it later this week or this weekend.
How about the FF2 trailer before the movie! NICE! SS actually looked pretty good!

I just wanted a few laughs and this movie delivered. It's not brain surgery, but it was fun. Biggest laugh: Owen Wilson as the cowboy, after the Roman Centurian has told him to save himself: "I aint quitting you!" (A Brokeback Mountain reference.)
One beef: I just hate it when someone is trying to explain something unbelievable and they just blurt it out so the other person thinks they're crazy. It's like they want to be misunderstood.
Instead of saying, "Everything comes alive after dark! Dinosaur bones play fetch and the toy soliders and cowboys fight each other," I would have said, "Stick around after dark; you'll see some strange things. Trust me; you won't regret it."

I didn't see it until recently but I thought in reality that it was just too typical of movies of this type lately. I hate when i'm so uncaring about a film that I'm looking at my watch in the middle of it.
