What is your new Year's goal regarding comics?

I have a New Year's goal regarding comics. I plan on keeping what I did last year, keep getting the core Marvel titles back to the Silver Age. A new item this year is to get key first appearances on Marvel books, especially ASM 129 and FF 48. What about ya'll Corralers?

I'm still working on my Superman titles and I'm starting to work on my series of comics that Mike Grell has worked on. Along with my ongoing titles that are coming out every month along with anything else that catches my fancy.

My resolution, as always, is to refine what I buy down to a very small number of core titles. Of course, no one ever makes a resolution to "start smoking" do they?

Each year I tell myself that I will stop buying new comics this year and catch up on what I've got now and fill in the blanks for issues I've missed, and so on. Of course, I never do it.

So here goes...ahem;
In 2007, I will only buy my absolute favorite titles, no mini-series and no specials. I will turn up my nose at all new titles and not spend one penny over .40 .50 .60 .75 1.00 1.25 1.50 1.75 1.95 2.00 2.25 2.50, 2.99 for any new comic.#superman#

I'm going to actually start selling off some of my REAL non-duplicate comic books from my own personal collection such as the original HULK series, the FF, Avengers, Superman, Flash, Web of S-Man, PPTSM, etc. etc. etc.
My comic book room is literally over-flowing with comic books.

I'm going to concentrate mainly on improving my beautiful high-grade BATMAN run (non-CGC) and AMAZING SPIDER-MAN run in terms of buying back-issues.

I'll also continue looking for back-issues of BATMAN CGC 9.8's if the price is right. So far, I have over 100 CGC 9.8's in the BATMAN title!

And if the right deal on any comic book(s) comes along, I'll buy that too!

I've been culling my collection box by box for several months...slowly. I'm already up to box 8 of....seventy...five...

So anyway, I'll be selling that stuff off just any time now!:o

I just need to get everything organized better. I've been using the Collectorz software to track my collection, but just haven't had the time to input everything. I know I have at least somewhere around 15,000 comics in my collection alone, and that doesn't even include all the stuff I've kept around as sales inventory. It all needs to be sorted, and the proper collection part of it has to be logged into the software. If I ever get that done, maybe I'll actually know what I have. :D

Continue to complete my run of FF. I did a good job on the 1st hundred issues last year, so it's time to move on to the next hundred.

I don't make resolutions.

I plan on trying to continue to complete my run of Wonder Woman v1. I have 53 more to go and there is no way in heck that I would be able to finish the run this year because I am down to the most expensive and rarest ones.
