What happened to all the arcade jackpots? I just made the highest score on Press Your Luck, and realized I had won no jackpot. I started looking around, and it seems the jackpots are gone on almost all the games. So, where's my VBux? #dunno#

Camper won them all and unless otherpeople play and lose... ie. not get the high score no money is added to the jackpot.. I stopped playing when I figured that out even though I did enjoy the games.

What do you think about resetting the high score tables every now and then...the holder of the "all time high score" would remain recorded as well. This way the games would be more competitive...

Let me know what you think abou this idea.

Should we unplug the machines? :)

Well, I was still playing some of them. I still hit hexxagon fairly often. I'm determined to beat the highscore there. I'd hate to see them all gone. I do think though that maybe we could use an influx on new games if possible in favor of any of the ones that are being ignored.

Hi James,

The "All time high score" would remain, even if the games were reset. You could still try and beat that score as well as the new hight score on each game.

I'd like to hear some suggestions for new games and types of games as well as games we have that you members don't really care for.

How about just a jackpot for breaking the current high score.. so if you have it you can't earn another jackpot, but others could try to surpass you?

Then of course if someone does pass a current champion the champion becomes a contender again and can win a jackpot... but the new champ can't until someone beats his/her score?

Silly question but shouldn't the jackpots be higher than break even or losing money?.. I mean to even play missle command means losing $20... seems kind of silly to me.

You can look at it as saving $20!

Yeah that's lame...I'll up the initial jackpot amount later.
