marvelguy

As you all are aware of this by now, I've been promoted to mod status and I'd like to start a new game here. This game will be all sorts of trivial stuff from the amazing worlds of comics lore. I'll have trivial questions from all sorts of genres in comics, pictures, artists, cover guessing, etc..you get the gist of it.
There will be prizes in the form of comics. How many comics, you say? There will be plenty of comics as the game will be a huge one, maybe 50 questions, bonus rounds, we'll see as the game progresses, I'll update on the status as it goes on.
This is an announcement of sorts, I'll have my game stuff together before long.
Now, grasshopper, you must STUDY now for the rewards is great!!!!#oldie#
Hope to see you here.:)

P.S. --- The winner will be determined by the "best of" in terms of questions/guesses answered correctly. This will be a best of 50. :D

John Buscema...Strange Tales #150 (not counting any work he did for any pre-Marvel publishers in the 40's and 50's)
Jim Shooter...Daredevil ???
Brian Bendis...Ultimate Spider-Man #1
Chris Claremont...Marvel Premiere #16 ??
Bryan Hitch...he did work for Marvel overseas so I'm not familiar with Marvel's Brit books. I'll say his North American start was on She-Hulk???? Just a wild Guess.
Sal Buscema...The Avengers ???
Greg Horn...Elektra (or She-Hulk?). Elektra is my final answer, Regis! ???
John Cassaday...X-Men/Alpha Flight #1

JRJR, that I know is wrong.
You have Frank Miller, John Buscema, and John Byrne correct.
At this point, they are correct, the others hasn't been listed with their respective issue and/or titles. You're warmer with the Sal answer.

Tough questions, at least for me anyway.

I'd re-check the GCD by date for Shooter. They do list a title that's earlier than GR ;-)

There you go, you have won the Bonus round outright and you have taken a commanding lead in the game. I can't even believe that Chris Claremont started on a reprint X-Men book in which he did a plot assist on the back-up story.

"I can't even believe that Chris Claremont started on a reprint X-Men book in which he did a plot assist on the back-up story."
X-Men didn't go to reprints until issue # 67. And I don't think there was a back-up story in X-Men # 59?

Err, I did mentioned that Elektra is wrong but you did have it correct on your behalf. As the game progresses, there were wrong answer on the folks who entered info on all the names. I did posted that you have 2 wrong and you'll have to figure it out based on the other entry. Hope that helps.
